The WaterSmart Program is designed to support businesses and local councils in improving water efficiency through smart, digital solutions. By participating, you’ll contribute to sustainable water use, helping both your business and the environment.

Who can benefit

We’re partnering with the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) to offer tailored water-saving solutions for business customers. This initiative is ideal for businesses providing essential services such as:

  • Hospitals

  • Aged care facilities

  • Local councils

  • Large industrial sites

By joining the program, you’ll gain valuable insights into your water usage and have access to practical strategies to reduce waste.

What does the program offer

Digital water monitoring

Using data loggers or digital water meters, we provide real-time tracking of your water consumption, so you can easily monitor your usage and detect leaks early. Iota’s Footprint® Platform lets you view your data, run custom reports, and set goals that fit your sustainability needs.

Water efficiency audits

We’ll conduct a detailed review of your site’s water usage to help you identify opportunities to save. From evaluating equipment to adjusting behaviours, we’ll offer recommendations to improve your water efficiency and reduce costs.

Why participate

By joining the WaterSmart program, your organisation will:

Save on water bills

Reduce your water usage and lower operational costs with data-driven insights and recommended improvements.

Prevent costly issues

Identify leaks early with digital monitoring to avoid unexpected repair costs and business disruptions.

Enhance sustainability

Show your customers, stakeholders, and the community that your business is committed to sustainability and responsible water management.
