Not all our maintenance is underground. From 8am - 5pm, Saturday 19 September, we'll be doing some portal upgrades and you may experience some outages during this time. Thank you for your patience whilst we perform these upgrades.

South East Water is responsible for the meter and pipes from the street to the meter. If you believe a leak is on our side, let us know and we’ll investigate.

New sewer pipes installed in South Melbourne
South Melbourne Sewer Upgrade stage 1 works have been completed. These works included constructioning a new relief sewer and manholes along Stead Street and Palmerston Crescent on either side of Kings Way. The works were completed in 2024. The project has now moved onto stage 2.
