Plumbers' standard drawings and guidelines

Typically, trade waste must be pre-treated in readiness for discharge to our sewerage system. It is your responsibility and a requirement of your trade waste consent to install appropriate treatment equipment for your business. 

Before installing pre-treatment equipment you may wish to discuss pre-treatment requirements with our trade waste team or engage a specialist consultant to design a system accordingly.

Once you've submitted a trade waste application, you'll receive a consent which outlines the maintenance and sizing requirements of relevant equipment required to safely dispose of trade waste.

Prior to connecting any treatment apparatus to the sewerage system, a plumbing application must be lodged and PIC number must be obtained through PropertyConnect and consent received from our development branch.Visit PropertyConnect to apply.
