South East Water will be in Pakenham this month for a Bring Your Bill Day, bringing bill support and practical advice closer to home.

The community event gives customers the chance to talk through their water bill in-person, ask questions and learn about the support options available.

With cost-of-living pressures continuing, South East Water is supporting customers who need extra help paying their bills.

South East Water Acting Customer Experience General Manager, Bryony Grice said the sessions help remove barriers to asking for support.

“Bring Your Bill Days make it easier to get help, close to home.

We can talk through bills, payment options and support on the spot. We want customers to feel comfortable starting a conversation, even if they aren’t sure where to begin,” Ms Grice said.

In 2024–25, South East Water supported almost 22,500 customers through flexible payment plans, payment extensions, debt waivers, utility relief grant applications, high‑usage reviews and plumbing support.

The team also attended 7 Bring Your Bill Days and other community events last year. These sessions led to around 300 direct customer conversations, many with people experiencing hardship or who speak English as a second language.

Customers who can’t attend can also access a range of ongoing support, including flexible payment plans, concessions, utility relief grants and help for people experiencing vulnerability. More information is available at Help and support | South East Water

Bring Your Bill Days are free and open to everyone. People can bring their water bill, or simply drop in for a chat.
