Have your say on what you'll pay
South East Water is inviting customers to share what matters most to them through a new online bill estimator tool.
The interactive tool lets customers explore future water, sewerage and recycled water services and see how different choices could affect bills.
Feedback will help shape South East Water’s Price Submission 2028. This plan will outline the services South East Water will provide, the infrastructure to be built and upgraded, and the prices to be charged between 1 July 2028 and 30 June 2033.
South East Water General Manager Strategy and Stakeholder, Karen Lau, said customer input is essential as cost pressures grow.
“We need to carefully balance priorities and make the right investments. Our customers’ views will help us get that balance right.”

The bill estimator helps customers compare service options and what they’d be prepared to pay for each.
By prioritising different options and service levels, customers can see how their choices might affect future bills. They can then submit the mix of services they think offers the best value.
“The insights will help South East Water understand which services matter most, where customers are willing to compromise, and what feels fair when it comes to prices and services,” Ms Lau said.
“Some essential services like providing safe and reliable drinking water and sewerage services are non-negotiable. This engagement focuses on the additional services and service levels where customer preferences can shape future investment and pricing.”
The tool shows estimated costs and service levels based on modelling, not guaranteed outcomes. It’s designed to show the relative difference between choices and doesn’t predict future bills or change current prices.
South East Water’s online bill estimator tool is open until Friday 10 July 2026. To participate visit engage.southeastwater.com.au/pipeline.
