Port Melbourne, Salmon Street Sewer Pump Station Relocation

What we're doing

This project will extend the existing sewer network to facilitate the future relocation of the Salmon Street Pump Station. This will increase the capacity of the sewer network to cater for population growth in the area and future proof the sewerage system. We'll complete the works in 3 stages.

This first stage of works involved the construction of a new sewer from the intersection of Turner Street and Salmon Street along Caprice Avenue, Port Melbourne.

With stage 1 now complete, we've begin stage 2  to construct the new pump station.

Once stage 2 is complete we'll move to stage 3 which will involve decommission the old pump station. We'll let you know before we start those works. 

When it's happening

Our works on Salmon Street and Turner Street and all stage 1 works are now complete.

We've now started Stage 2 works.

You can expect us to work Monday to Friday between 7 am and 6 pm and Saturdays between 7am and 5pm. On the odd occasion, we might need to work at other times for safety, technical or permit reasons.
