In your area, we'll soon start sewer works at 134 South Beach Road, Bittern.
We’re replacing an air valve in the ground, including the installation of a new pipe and pit. On completion, works will involve reinstating the area back to as close to its original condition.
You shouldn’t notice any change to your water or sewerage services while we work.
When it's happening
Our delivery contractor, Land Engineering, is anticipated to undertake these works from Monday 12 October until late March 2027 (weather permitting).
Working hours will be between 7 am and 6 pm Monday to Friday and 7 am and 1 pm on Saturday. There will be approximately one night of works from 8 pm to 6 am and we'll keep you updated on when this is planned closer to the time. We may on occasion need to work outside these hours for safety or technical reasons.

- Construction noise including reversing beepers and the use of heavy machinery.
- More trucks on the streets around you, and fewer car parks around the works area.
- Lights as we work at night.
- A temporary fenced area for equipment and portable facilities.
Our traffic management team will be around to make sure people, bikes and cars can move around safely. You'll continue to have access to properties and businesses in the area.
