At South East Water, we procure a range of goods and services and that help us to provide our essential water and wastewater services to our customers and community. Our suppliers and contractors play an important role in supporting us to deliver on our key customer outcomes.

Procurement Activity Plan

Suppliers can find details of our current Procurement Activity Plan which outlines South East Water’s future anticipated procurement activity below, as well as on Buying for Victoria (formerly Tenders VIC).

Procurement Complaints Management

To lodge a complaint or an enquiry regarding our procurement process or a procurement activity, please send your compliant or enquiry to: procurement@sew.com.au

South East Water will within five days of receipt of your complaint or enquiry:

  • Acknowledge receipt of your compliant/enquiry.
  • Appoint a person to review your complaint/enquiry.
  • Request any additional information from you, if necessary.
  • Provide you an indicative timeline to complete the review and the process steps to be undertaken.
  • Inform the Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) of any escalated complaints.

Tenders

We release our public tenders and expressions of interest via the Buying for Victoria portal (formerly Tenders VIC).

You can register your business in the portal, it’s a free service. Once registered, you’ll be able to view, access and download our active opportunities by searching for South East Water.  You can follow the prompts to set up notifications to ensure you don’t miss out on any new opportunities. 

You’ll find terms and conditions, tender lodgement details and any other instructions or requirements in the individual tender documentation.

Social Procurement

When engaging the supply market, we look for suppliers that can deliver value for money outcomes and high standards of professionalism and integrity.

We also have a Social Procurement Strategy that’s in line with Victoria’s Social Procurement Framework, with the aim of maximising social, economic and environmental benefits for all Victorians.
