The Koo Wee Rup Water Recycling Plant (WRP) plays a vital role in the collection and treatment of wastewater for the Koo Wee Rup region.
Recycled water production at the Koo Wee Rup WRP is helping to secure our future water supply, by reducing our reliance on drinking water for non-drinking purposes. The plant treats wastewater from the local community, and produces Class C recycled water, providing an alternative source of water for suitable non-drinking purposes and helping reduce reliance on precious drinking water supplies.
There are currently no planned upgrades for the Koo Wee Rup WRP. We'll keep this page updated and notify the community if any upgrades are being planned for the future.
