Boneo Water Recycling Plant
Supporting a sustainable future
Recycled water production at the Boneo Water Recycling Plant (WRP) is helping to secure our future water supply, by reducing our reliance on drinking water for non-drinking purposes. The plant treats wastewater generated by local homes, businesses and visitors, supporting the growing needs of the region. The Boneo WRP produces Class A recycled water, the highest quality recycled water available, for approved residential, agricultural and irrigation uses.
Recycled water from the plant helps conserve drinking water supplies while supporting a sustainable and secure water future for the Mornington Peninsula.
The John Holland SUEZ Beca Joint Venture (JHSB) was appointed in 2018 to undertake operations and maintenance of the plant for 10 years, with the potential for a 5 year extension.
There are currently no planned upgrades for the Boneo WRP. We'll keep this page updated and notify the community if any upgrades are being planned for the future.
