Terms and conditions for receiving bills via email.
Delivery
The bill(s) that you have opted to be delivered by email will be emailed to your nominated email address. If you change your email you should update this information at mySouthEastWater.
You are not able to provide a different email address for your account. We use the current registered email address against the person recorded.
If a different person is already registered for paperless billing then the system will inform you that someone else is currently registered and that person will be notified of the change. On a change of paperless billing recipient, a notification will be sent to the previous recipient notifying them of the change. If you wish to discuss or dispute this, you can send through an enquiry or call us on 131 851.
One paperless bill per account
Only one paperless bill is permitted per billing account i.e. only one person per account can be set up to receive a paperless bill.
Process
Upon your selection to receive a bill by email, this request will take 2 business days to process.
Cancellation and changing your preference
If you cancel a paperless bill you will automatically revert to being sent a paper bill. Depending on when you submit your update and the due date of your bill, you may get one more paper bill. Conversely, if you change your preference from paperless to post, you may receive one more email bill.
The bill delivery and notification method can be changed via mySouthEastWater up to two times per billing period.
Format
You will receive an email with a summary of your bill. A full version of your bill can be accessed via a link in the email called ‘Download my Bill’. You can also see your last 15 bills online through mySouthEastWater.
Updates to the terms and conditions
South East Water may amend or update these terms from time to time without notice to you. Such additional terms and conditions are incorporated by reference into these terms and conditions and you agree that you will comply with any additional terms and conditions that will be made available to you. You may deregister your account at any time if you do not agree to these terms and conditions or any amendments or updates we may make from time to time.
