What we’re doing
This project is to construct and install a new water transfer main and pump station in Lang Lang to cater for future growth in the area.
When’s it happening
We're starting early investigation works in late March for around 6 weeks. You'll notice land closures and speed reductions around the proposed location of the new water transfer main.
We’ll keep you updated and get in touch prior to starting construction.
What might impact you
We’ll do our best to keep impacts to a minimum, however these are the kinds of things you might notice when construction begins:
- Machinery on site.
- More trucks on the streets around you.
- Noise from machinery, like beepers when trucks reverse.
- Non-destructive digging (NDD) and drill rig works to perform geotechnical investigations.
We'll be in touch before construction begins to update you on any other impacts.
Don’t miss these details
We're working with Abergeldie, BMD, KBR (ABK) to help us.
Our Industry Partner Abergeldie, BMD, KBR Joint Venture (ABK) will undertake these works on behalf of South East Water.
No. If you experience any disruption to your water or sewerage services please call our 24/7 Faults and Emergencies team on 13 28 12.
No, we don't plan to impact driveway access. If for any reason during construction we need to block your driveway access, we will notify you in person and where possible, provide at least 24 hours' notice so that alternative parking arrangements can be made.
To safely undertake these works, traffic and pedestrian conditions may change so please take care when travelling around the construction sites.
When we’ve finished the job, we’ll leave things how we found them and return any areas we’ve impacted as close as possible to their original condition.
There is no cost to the property owner for these works.
