To improve how we manage your payments, we’re switching to a new payment gateway provider.
Upcoming change to our payment gateway
To improve how we manage your payments, we’ll be switching to a new payment gateway provider – Westpac.
During this transition, you won’t be able to make payments via credit card or debit card, set up a new direct debit, or update an existing one while the system is being upgraded.
We’ll let you know here when the upgrade has been completed, however we expect this downtime to last between 24 and 48 hours.
We’ll have everything back up and running as soon as possible – thanks for your patience.
Other ways to pay
BPAY
Pay your bill through internet banking using BPAY Biller Code: 24208. You can find your reference number on your bill. Please note that each property has it's own reference number.
EFT
Transfer funds directly from your account to ours by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). You can find the account details on your bill.
AusPost
Pay your bill online through Australia Post. Enter your Post Billpay code, reference no, payment card details and the amount you want to pay.
You can find the code and reference number under the ‘Payment options’ section of your bill.
Frequently asked questions
Why is South East Water changing payment gateway providers?
Our payment gateway provider Bambora, who have been in place since 2010 will exit the Australian market at the end of September 2025, consequently the payment platform must be decommissioned.
We’re moving to Westpac which provides a secure payment solution that integrates with our current billing system.
Why does the payment page on your website look different?
You may notice some slight differences when you pay your bill on our website. As part of this change, the secure payment form is now available directly on our website. You will also be prompted to enter your property postcode when making a payment on our website
When will I be able to pay my bill?
You will be able to pay your bill online here once the upgrade has been completed. Pay your bill | South East Water
Will there be any additional fees associated with this change?
There will not be any additional fees for our customers.
Will this change have any impact on my personal information?
No, this change will have no impact on how we use, store or use direct debit or credit card details.
Do I need to update my direct debit payment details with you?
No, there’s nothing you need to do.
