Let’s get you sorted

Whether you're moving in or out of your rental property, we can help you organise your account in just a few minutes.

Are you moving in or moving out?
New to South East Water?

Good news! As a renter moving into a property in our area, you don’t need to do anything. Your rental provider or property manager will let us know and give us your details - we'll set up an account for you.

You’ll receive your first bill within three months of moving in. Most customers will receive their bill by email, so it's best to make sure we're on your approved senders list so your bill doesn't end up in your junk mail.

What will I need to pay for?

As a renter, in most cases you’ll only be responsible for paying the water usage charge. This charge now includes what was previously called the sewage disposal charge. Check out our prices and charges here.

Property owners pay for everything else.

Existing customer?

Make sure you tell us you’re moving out of your previous property at least two business days beforehand. For your new place, you’ll get a new billing account number.

Here are some important things you need to know:

  • Your BPay reference number will change, so double check you’re paying the right account
  • If you have a direct debit, you’ll need to set it up again you can do this at mySouthEastWater
  • Have a concession card? Once Centrelink or DVA have updated your address, you’ll need to add your concession to your new address. You can do that via mySouthEastWater
