The Basin emergency water works

We’re currently onsite at 81 Miller Rd, The Basin fixing a large leaking water pipe that burst on Wednesday 8 May.

We’re sorry the repairs are taking us longer than usual. You’ll now see or hear us around over the next few days while we get the job done.

There’s currently no impact to water services in the area. We’ll provide another update if this changes.   

If you’re in the area, these are the things you might notice while we work

• More trucks and machinery like cranes and excavators on Miller Rd and surrounding streets.

• Noise from machinery, like generators and beepers when trucks reverse.

• A change in normal traffic flow and worksite set up on local streets

Our traffic management team will be around to make sure people, bikes and cars can move around safely. We’ll keep the disruption to a minimum and leave the area as we found it.
