We’re responding to a major burst water pipe that supplies around 9,000 customers in parts of Mornington and Mount Martha.

Customers may have low water pressure. We ask customers to check their front tap before contacting us, as some homes may still have a low-pressure supply.

The water is safe to drink.

Emergency drinking water is available on tap at 53 Shandon St, Mornington. We encourage customers to bring their containers and bottles to fill up with drinking water.

Emergency repairs are underway at the burst site (Shotton Rd, Mount Eliza) but may take up to 24 hours to complete.

We’re notifying registered customers by email and SMS. We’ll keep the community updated on our website and social media channels (Facebook and X).

We’re sorry for the disruption and thank everyone for their patience while we fix the issue as soon as possible.

For more information, customers can contact our 24‑hour Faults and Emergencies team on 13 28 12.
