South East Water is encouraging customers to keep their account information safe and watch out for scams.

Delivering safe and reliable water services is a core part of what we do all day, every day. We safeguard our customers’ wellbeing with healthy water and also with our efforts to help customers guard against cyber scams.

South East Water General Manager Customer Experience, Lara Salembier said that while the organisation wasn’t aware of any cyber threats impacting customers, it was important to be vigilant.

“Our cyber security team are always monitoring for scams, and there’s steps customers can take to spot the warning signs.
“If you’re ever in doubt, we’d encourage you to get in touch with us straight away”.
