Modern slavery statement
Vision
At South East Water, we acknowledge the risk of modern slavery in global supply chains and consider any form of modern slavery to be unacceptable. We're committed to doing all we can to address modern slavery risks and defend human rights within our operations and those of our suppliers.
What's modern slavery?
The term ‘modern slavery’ is used to describe situations where coercion, threats or deception are used to exploit victims and undermine or deprive them of their freedom.
Background
The Commonwealth Modern Slavery Act 2018 has established a national modern slavery reporting requirement which requires South East Water to produce an annual modern slavery statement.
Purpose
Our annual modern slavery statements outline the actions we’ve taken to identify, monitor and mitigate potential modern slavery risks within our operations and supply chains.
