We wrote this book to tell you how
we can help if you experience
domestic and family violence.
Domestic and family violence is when
someone hurts
- another person in their family
- their partner.
The violence can be
- abuse
- threats
- physical violence.
The violence can happen between
- family members
- partners
- ex partners
- someone who is in your family but is not
related to you by birth.
The violence can happen when one person
tries to have more power and control.
We call this person the perpetrator.
How we can help
We can
- make sure information about you is safe and private
- give financial support to help you stay safe
- tell you who else can give support
- listen to what you need to feel supported
- train our team about what you need
to feel supported.

You can call our direct line.
Direct line means a number customers can
use to get more support.

This means we
- only ask you to share information that you feel safe to share
- try and give you the same person to talk to if you need to call again
We can give extra support to customer who experience domestic and family violence.

- how to make sure a perpetrator cannot access your account with us
- how to manage a joint account with
someone who has done domestic violence
- how to get help for debt you have with us.
