Expanding the sewerage and recycled water networks to cater for future growth

The Pakenham East area is anticipated to become a major growth area, after the recent approval of the Precinct Structure Plan, in January 2021. We are expecting the fast development of residential and non-residential developments in the next few years.

To ensure we can service the Pakenham East area into the future, we are expanding the sewerage and recycled water networks into this area.

We are currently in the planning and design phase of the project. Once we have confirmed the location of the pipes for the networks, we’ll let you know.

We’re aiming to start construction by the end of 2021. Due to the size of the project it is anticipated it will take until December 2023 to complete all of the works.
