Need more time to pay?

If you need more time to pay your bill you may be able to access an extension. To request a payment extension visit mySouthEastWater or phone us on 131 851.

Payment plans

Do you find smaller, more frequent payments easier to manage? Like thousands of our customers, you can try bill smoothing and spread the cost of your bill with a payment plan, making fortnightly or monthly payments.

To set up a payment plan, follow the easy steps at mySouthEastWater (if you haven’t already, you’ll need to register first) or phone us on 131 851.


If you receive a Centrelink benefit, Centrepay might suit you. It’s a free service that makes regular deductions from your Centrelink payments and puts them directly onto your water and sewerage bill.

If you have an eligible concession card from Centrelink or Department of Veterans’ Affairs you could receive a discount of up to $320.90 for the 2018-19 financial year on your water and sewerage bill. You can register your concession at mySouthEastWater or phone us on 131 851.

South East Water Assist

If it’s hard to meet your financial commitments, including paying your water and sewerage bill, you’re invited to have a confidential chat with a team member from our dedicated South East Water Assist program. They’ll listen to your individual circumstances then work with you on a plan to help you pay and manage your water and sewerage bill.

Customer Care Program

We want you to know we’re here to help, and can support you through our Customer Care Program.

Our Customer Care program is for customers who want to pay, but can’t pay everything. The aim of the program is to help customers manage their account and water usage so that ongoing bills are manageable.
