About us

Aboriginal acknowledgement

We proudly acknowledge Aboriginal people as Australia’s first peoples and the Traditional Owners of the land and water on which we rely and operate. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and future and acknowledge the continued connections Aboriginal people have with the lands and waters they have cared for and protected for millennia.

Our role

Your satisfaction

Our role is to bring water to you and adapt it to meet your needs. That means providing a reliable supply of quality water for home and business. It means fixing problems quickly.
We take our service obligations seriously – and we want to know if we are not delivering to your expectations.

Five-year Customer Commitment

Safety commitment

We’re proud to be supporting you with reliable services and stable pricing for the next five years. Our prices and services for 2018-23 have been approved by our regulator, the Essential Services Commission, and they have been shaped by our customers' feedback.
Nothing is more important to us than the safety of our people, contractors and community. Our Living Safely framework outlines the behaviours we expect anyone undertaking high-risk work on behalf of our organisation to comply with.

Emissions reduction pledge

Throughout Victoria, water corporations have committed to targets to reduce their carbon emissions as part of a sector-wide Emissions Reduction Pledge. At South East Water, we’ve pledged to reduce our carbon emissions by 45 per cent by 2025.
