Set up a business account
Commercial property tenants
Are you setting up a new business in a property you're leasing? The owner of a commercial property is responsible for all water and sewerage charges incurred, so you do not need to set up an account with us. However, if your business discharges trade waste, you will need to set up a Trade Waste Contact with us. You will be responsible for the trade waste charges incurred.
Commercial property owners
If you've purchased a commercial property, your solicitor or conveyance will let us know your details when they provide us with a copy of the notice of acquisition. As the owner of a commercial property, you will be liable for all water and sewerage charges incurred at the property, even if you place a tenant in the property. However, if the tenant discharges trade waste then they will be responsible for the trade waste charges incurred.
